The paper discusses in detail sampling and statistical methods, including descriptive statistics and regression analysis. Findings of statistical analysis indicates that there is indeed a relationship between the two variables, but statistical analysis alone does not explain why that relationship exists. The discussion section introduces other possibilities, including Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the existence of motivators other than compensation alone.
